Clayton Clark was born and raised in Belleville, Illinois, which is just 10 miles from the arch in St. Louis, Missouri.
Clayton earned his undergraduate degree from Murray State University in Murray KY, where he was a starter for the Murray State Tennis Team. Go Racers!
Before his senior year Clayton tore his ACL in his left knee on a Slip 'N Slide (always check for bricks in the ground under your Slip 'N Slides before you slide). While he was injured, Clayton took the extra time to explore the television field. He interned for a morning feature reporter at a Fox station in St. Louis where he realized working in television is what he wanted to do.
After college Clayton earned his first full time job in television as a weekend news anchor in Minot North Dakota for KXMC-TV (Yes, it's that cold). After a year there he moved over to the sports department doing weekend anchoring and weekday reporting.
After a wonderful stay in the snow Clayton moved to the lovely San Joaquin Valley to join the Great Day Team as the morning feature reporter. He says it's the job of his dreams and couldn't ask for a better family to work with and a community to work for. When he's not at work you can catch him running outside, playing golf or tennis, or walking his new pup Dakota.
