Chef Paul Urias cooked up his special recipe of ' "Pico Pollo Pasta" in the new Great Day kitchen.
Here is the recipe for "Pico Pollo Pasta" if you would like to try to make it yourself at home:
INGREDIENTS:
1 or 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast(s)
1 bag pasta (I like to use the three color Rotini)
1 bunch broccoli
1/2 lb. mushrooms
1 bunch green onions
2 or 3 cups Parmesan Cheese
1 stick butter
Crushed red chili peppers
1 pint heavy whipping cream
salt, pepper and garlic powder
1 clove fresh garlic
RECIPE:
1. Melt butter and sautee fresh garlic
2. Brown chicken and add spices
3. Add vegetables and steam for a few minutes, then add heavy cream
4. Bring to a simmer and add Parmesan Cheese, thicken and add already-cooked pasta
5. Serve and eat
