Stratford School today announced its Summer Reading Spur a program that helps parents encourage current and incoming students to read age appropriate books during summer in exchange for the chance to win a Kindle Fire HDX, or tickets to a fun, family friendly event or activity.    

Announcing the Stratford School Summer Reading Spur! Read, learn, and win! Heres an extra incentive to help encourage continued reading this summer every five age appropriate books your child reads (or you read to them if they cant yet read on their own) will enter them into a raffle for the chance to win a Kindle Fire HDX, or tickets to a fun, family friendly event or activity!

1.    Choose five age appropriate books
(for suggestions, check out Scholastic's Summer Reading BookList)
2.    Read them in full
3.    Email your childs full name, age, and campus, and the five books titles and authors to contests(at)stratfordschools(dot)com.

Every five books read will earn your child one entry into the Stratford School Summer Reading Spur raffle. To enter, please only list five books per email and be sure to include all additional information requested. There is no limit on the number of email entries you may submit. Please practice the honor system. All entries are valid until the close of the Spur.

A total of five winners and one grand prize winner will be pulled randomly and announced on the Stratford School Facebook Page at 1:00 p.m. on the following dates:

July 7, 2014
July 14, 2014
July 21, 2014
July 28, 2014
August 4, 2014
August 11, 2014

The grand prize winner will be announced on August 11, 2014 and will receive a Kindle Fire HDX!
