FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

A man is under arrest, accused of trying to break into a home Wednesday morning and then trying to shoot neighbors.

Police say the man was trying to break into a house by kicking down a door.

Neighbors heard the noise and interrupted the break–in.

The man drove away and police say ten minutes later he returned to confront those neighbors.

Police say at one point the man fired a shot at the neighbors then drove away again.
