Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Fresno Yosemite Airport

Update: 6:12 pm 6/16/14
We have more information about the emergency landing of that P2V air tanker plane.

The two people on board escaped unharmed.

The U.S. Forest Service says the plane belongs to Minden Air Corp, a family owned and operated company in Nevada which contracts out air tanker services.

By the way, KMPH Fox 26 News contacted the plane's owners but they had no comment.

The plane is being repaired at the Fresno Airport.

-------------------
A plane ride took a scary turn Sunday night when the pilot was forced to make an emergency landing at Fresno's Yosemite airport.

The pilot told the control tower that he was having problems with his landing gear.

Sparks flew as the plane touched down.

But firefighters and other first responders were ready to take care of any problems on the runway.

There were no reports of injuries.
