The OFF!® Brand Partners with National Get Outdoors Day to Encourage Active Outdoor Fun on June 14th
RACINE, Wis., June 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Spending time outdoors makes us happy, but most Americans say they struggle to enjoy enough time outside, citing bugs as one of the top barriers to spending time outside, according to a recent OFF! ® survey1. To help encourage Americans to get back outside, the OFF!® brand has partnered with National Get Outdoors Day, or GO Day, an annual event that encourages people of all ages to enjoy active outdoor fun. Last year, the event was held across 138 sites and brought in thousands across the nation for a day of outdoor-themed activities. There are 163 official GO Day sites in 2014.
In addition to partnering with GO Day, the OFF!® brand has also partnered with Bachelorette alum, active mom and outdoor enthusiast Trista Sutter to remind people of the importance of taking protective measures against mosquito and tick bites and enjoy every minute under the open sky, distraction-free.
