Former boxer and nutrition expert, Jenifer Alcorn, visited Great Day to discuss the importance of staying hydrated during the summer.

Jenifer's Hydration Tips:

  • Plan ahead and pack your own water
  • Mix it up - add fruit, lemons, mint, cucumbers etc.
  • Don't just drink your water, eat foods that hydrate too
  • Remember the electrolytes, which are not in water
  • Have a Popsicle, store bought or homemade
  • Remind yourself to drink enough water
  • Jug it - Keep a large water near you at all times
  • Monitor the color of your urine - yellow is bad

Jenifer also showed us some partner exercises using a super band.
