San Joaquin River Camp

Are your children ready to have the best week ever?

For over 20 years, the River Parkway Trust has been offering an exciting, fun, and safe experience for the Valley’s children at River Camp. Our lively and experienced staff of counselors, lifeguards, visiting scientists, and artists will engage your children in activities that enhance their understanding of, and connection to, the San Joaquin River.

Campers enjoy swimming and splashing in cool water, learning to canoe, exploring wildlife habitat, playing games, creating arts and crafts, and building new friendships during their week-long day-camp experience.

A cool River Camp 2014 tee shirt is included in the cost of registration.

River Camp is held at Scout Island, a beautiful 85-acre outdoor education facility owned by the Fresno County Office of Education. Scout Island is located at the end of Van Ness Ave, easily accessible from anywhere in Fresno. The River Parkway Trust is proud to partner with the FCOE in bringing local environmental education to the children in our community.
