Bomb Threat Leads To Arrest In Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno police say a man walked into two businesses Thursday morning and said he had a bomb in his backpack and demanded money.

They say he first went into a bail bond business on the Fulton Mall and then into a nearby CVS Pharmacy.

Police arrested James Rose as he was leaving the CVS.

They isolated the backpack and evacuated a nearby building.

Police said the backpack did not contain any explosives.

Rose was booked into the Fresno County jail on four counts of robbery and two counts of making bomb threats.
