Helicopter Lands At School To Pick Up Donations

Posted:
FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Starr Elementary School in Fresno was featured on KMPH Fox 26 News last month for getting national attention for their random acts of kindness. The kids are at it again, and KMPH was there again.

The first grade students created a Kind Kids Club, where they do random acts of kindness throughout the school.

Their efforts didn't stop there, and they began collecting items for babies being treated at Children's Hospital Center California.

On Monday, Air George, the hospital's helicopter, landed at the school to collect the donations.

The students were able to watch the helicopter land on the grass, making for a very exciting day.

Great job Starr Elementary!
