Surviving Breast Cancer

New research shows breast cancer patients with high levels of Vitamin D in their blood, may be more likely to win their fight against cancer.

Overall, researchers found women with high Vitamin D levels were twice as likely to survive their disease. They suspect Vitamin D may help increase communication among cells, switching on a protein that can help prevent aggressive cell division.

Study authors suggest doctors add the vitamin into patient's treatment regiments immediately. Of course, please don't take supplements during treatment without talking with your doctor first.
