Outlasting all but two players in a field of 668 of the world's best players, Balsiger collects AUD$650,000 for his achievement, taking his total career earnings to date to an impressive $4,565,750.

Balsiger shot to super stardom in the world of Poker as a 21 year old in 2012 when he finished third in the 43rd World Series of Poker Main Event, earning a staggering $3,799,073.  Since then, he has travelled the world playing in tournaments across the globe as a member of 888Poker's "Team888".

He is no stranger to success in Australia, making 3 final tables at the 2013 Aussie Millions, and earning a combined total of over $85,000 for the trip.

The Aussie Millions is the premier Poker event in the Southern Hemisphere and is considered by many to be one of the "Grand Slams" of Poker.  Every year, the best players in the world descend on Melbourne for the 3 week festival of Poker, culminating in the AUD$10,000 buy-in Main Event.  Balsiger's third place finish in the 2014 event solidifies his position as one of the best players in the game, and at only 24 years of age the future is bright for the Arizona native.
