State of the Union Speech Expected to Cover Minimum Wage, Unemployment

President Obama's State of the Union address happens Tuesday night at 6.

It's his chance to lay out a plan for the country's goals in 2014.

Many wonder if his plan will include approval from congress.

White House officials say President Obama wants to work with lawmakers on Capitol Hill to achieve his goals

He says he will bypass congress if they can't work together and get things done.

Some in the GOP believe the president's promise to use his executive power sounds more like just a warning.

The speech is expected to focus on income inequality, extending unemployment benefits, and raising the minimum wage.
