The Colby Fire burning near Glendora in the Angeles National Forest has burned 1700 acres and destroyed at least five homes and several other structures.

Several injuries have been reported as a result of the fire and there have been no reported deaths.

Forest Supervisor, Tom Contreras said, "The conditions are such that they still continue to be extreme with the draft and the weather conditions being the winds. We will continue to work very hard as far as moving forward in suppressing this fire.

Three men are now behind bars as police say they started the blaze.

The men claim they were sitting around a camp fire when a breeze kicked up, starting a wildfire.

Their bond has been set at $500,000.
