Police Arrest Coalinga Couple After Search Turns Up Guns, Drugs

COALINGA, Calif. (KMPH) -

A man and his girlfriend are in custody after police in Coalinga served a warrant at a home the two share.

Officers found a gun, ammunition, drugs and stolen electronics inside the house on the 500 block of east Valley Street.

Forty-year-old Michael Scroggins and his girlfriend Angela Dowd, 39, were arrested.

During the search of the residence, police also found several light poles that were recently stolen from Coalinga Regional Medical Center.
