TechNews - Smartphone That Predicts Your Needs

Your smart phone home screen may be in store for a big change very soon.

Yahoo bought a company called Aviate and that will speed up the release of their new automatically customizing home screen.

This app presents you with your apps when you need them the most based on time of day and your habits.

For example, when you wake up in the morning your weather and schedule pop up when your alarm goes off and news apps are on your front page.

Then, if you go out to eat, your phone recognizes the restaurant and pops up Yelp reviews and suggested menu items to order.

The app is in the beta testing phase right now and is only available by invite but it should be available for Android phones soon.
