Thanksgiving Day Shooting in Southeast Fresno


UPDATE: Police say the man shot Thursday morning is in serious condition. They still don't know who is responsible for shooting him.



A Fresno man is spending his Thanksgiving in the hospital. 

He was shot outside his home near El Monte and Chestnut in southeast Fresno just after 2:00 a.m. Thursday, November 28, 2013.  Fresno Police say the 61 year-old man was standing next to his car when someone drove by and started shooting.  He was hit with shotgun pellets and taken to the hospital.  His condition is not known. 

Police are searching for the shooter.
