Pedestrian Killed Near Peach & Gettysburg In Clovis

Clovis police are now investigating an accident that killed a woman on Monday.

They say the woman was wearing dark clothing, when she crossed a dimly lit stretch of road near Peach and Gettysburg around 5:00 p.m.

A driver hit her, and waited for officers to arrive.

The woman was rushed to a hospital, but died in surgery nearly six hours later.

Her name has not been released.
