Suspected Serial Rapist Arrested By Fresno Police

Posted:

A suspected serial rapist posing as an undercover officer has been arrested.

Police say Carlos Ramirez raped at least five women since last July.

They say Ramirez would target African-American women and used a gun or Taser to force them to go with him to another area where the assaults happened.

There may be more victims out there and another suspect is wanted that was with Ramirez on at least two of the rapes.

The assaults occurred in the areas of Belmont Avenue & Fresno Street and Ashlan & Blackstone Avenues.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fresno Police Department or call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
