Missing Madera Man Located

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Madera Police Department has reported that Mr. Alvarez has been located and the alert has been canceled.

 

 



 

The California Highway Patrol has issued a "Silver Alert" in Madera and Fresno counties. A Silver Alert is for a missing adult, 65 or older.

68-year-old Frank Alvarez went missing early Tuesday morning from his care facility at 517 South A Street in Madera.

Alvarez is described as 5'5" tall, 200 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen around 6:30 a.m. wearing a white shirt with blue stripe, dark blue pants with light blue pants underneath, and a blue back pack.

Mr. Alvarez suffers from dementia and is unfamiliar with the area.
