The search for 45-year-old Roger Moreno continues.

Police say Moreno is wanted only for questioning in a sexual assault case, but he ran away when police arrived at his Clovis apartment.

About 40 officers from both Fresno and Clovis set up a perimeter to find the man, but he got away.

The move forced officers to lock down nearby Cole Elementary School.

Fresno police Sgt. Nina Jacobs says, "He should contact the Fresno Police Department, so he cold give us his side of the story about this incident."

Parents of Cole Elementary students waited in the school cafeteria while the search continued for Moreno.

Parents say the school did a great job.

Stephanie Bolton says, "They always do a great job, I feel safe and I feel like my kids are safe. They always take extra precautions."

About an hour later, parents were able to pick up their kids.

Parents say all they want to do is hug their kids.

Parent, Dawana Kooiman says, "When it's something this close to the school, it takes you back to Columbine, anything can happen you never know."

Moreno was last seen wearing a white T-shirt.

Detectives are now checking with Moreno's family and friends.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call CrimeStoppers at (559) 498-STOP.

Your tip could earn you a $1,000.00 reward.
