Numerous Plants Receive 2013 Gold Excellence in Safety Awards
WALTHAM, Mass., Sept. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Aggregate Industries US (AIUS) (www.aggregate-us.com), a Holcim Group company, announced today that numerous AIUS facilities have received the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association's (NRMCA) 2013 Gold Excellence in Safety Award. The contest and awards aim to foster safe practices at ready mixed concrete plants across the nation and recognize those plants with exemplary safety records. The Gold Category is the awards' highest honor, indicating an incident rate equal to zero.

The 2013 NRMCA Safety Contest received 1312 individual plant entries. All entries included safety records from calendar year 2012. AIUS facilities to receive the Gold Award include:
