Two Suspected Central Valley Burglars Jailed After Traffic Stop

Posted:
FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

Two Fresno men who deputies say are connected to several commercial robberies have been arrested, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said.

Ignacio Luis Bracamontes Jr, 23, and Jose Paez, 28, both parolees were pulled over in their car by deputies near Peach and Escalon avenues.

Deputies say both men were both wearing gloves and trying to hide a crowbar.

Inside the car deputies also found marijuana and bolt cutters.

Investigators then went to Paez's home where they found two safes that had been stolen from sandwich shops in Clovis.

Bracamontes and Paez may be responsible for burglaries throughout Fresno, Sanger and Clovis, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said.

Both men are parolees, and now face several more charges including burglary.
