Owls Rescued From Mariposa Wildfire Released Back Into Sierra National Forest

Two baby owls that were saved from a large Mariposa County wildfire are now back in the wild.

The two owls, known as Puff and Fluff, were found on June 20 and were rehabilitated.

After a steady diet, the two gained their strength back.

They were released back into the Sierra National Forest this week.

The wildfire, Known as the Carstens Fire,  is now in the Clarks Valley and is believed to have been caused by an unattended camp fire.
