FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

Some Central Valley entrepreneurs are realizing their dreams this month with the opening of a few new businesses around town.

One such business is Das Bierhaus, which opened its doors in the Tower District last week.

The new bar has more than 170 different beers to choose from, though none are on tap.

Customers say it's a place to try new beers. And if a customer picks a beer that they don't like, it's not a big deal.

"There's a lot of wine tasting in Fresno, here it's a little bit of a twist, beer tasting I guess," said Das Bierhaus customer Ray Ramon.

Das Bierhaus serves up craft beers, including some that are brewed in the Central Valley.

Another business has opened up shop near Millerton Lake.

Sandals At The Beach Grill is a tropical-themed eatery that dishes up a taste of Hawaii.

The restaurant's menu includes the Hawaiian dessert shaved ice, hot dogs and burgers.
