Gunman In Fresno Shooting Sought

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Police are searching for a wan who shot a man in northwest Fresno on Monday.

Davon Packard, 22, is wanted on charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

Police say Packard was identified as the shooter in a July 22 incident at the Parkway Village Apartments at 3581 N. Parkway where a 22-year-old man was struck in both feet.

The 22-year-old man was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Packard is asked to call the Fresno Police Department at  621-2422, 621-2421 or Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP where an anonymous tip leading to an arrest could be worth up to $1000.
