Visalia Woman Run Over By Boyfriend

Posted:
VISALIA, Calif. (KMPH) -

A Visalia woman is recovering after police say her boyfriend ran her over.

Officers say Richard Fiso first tried to pull his girlfriend out of the car, but she still had her seatbelt on.

As she was caught in the seatbelt, with the upper half of her body outside of the car, police say Fiso got in the driver's seat, stepped on the gas and ran over the woman.

Fiso ran off, but was later found and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon.

The woman is expected to recover.
