A measure that would have seen Fresno's residential trash privatized has been voted down.
A tally released Wednesday afternoon shows that Measure G was down more than 800 points with 600 contested ballots left uncounted.
The vote was delayed for more than a week after Measure G supporters said they watched hundreds of ballots verified as valid despite substantial mismatches on the signatures. At the time, Measure G was ahead 262 votes with 100 percent of precincts reporting.
