88-Year-Old Man Reported Missing Found Safe, Police Say

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

Update: An 88-year-old man who walked away from his home on Sunday afternoon has been found, a Fresno Police spokesman said.

 

Original: Fresno Police are searching for an 88-year-old man who went missing from his home on Sunday.

According to reports, Timothy Moreno walked away from his home in the 1300 block of West Dakota Avenue around noon.

Detectives say Moreno suffers from dementia and has never been gone overnight without telling his family.

Moreno is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, 190 pounds, and has gray Hair and brown eyes. He also rides the bus and frequents restaurants along West Shaw and West Dakota avenues.

Moreno has family in Bakersfield and may be trying to get there, detectives said.
