Flag Stolen From Fresno Fire Station

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Fresno firefighters are trying to figure out who stole the station's American flag over the Memorial Day weekend.

Firefighters say after returning from a morning call, they noticed the flag was missing from the front of fire station on Cherry and Jensen avenues.

"It's terrible especially on memorial day weekend. It's sad to see how brazen people are. It's just a slap in the face to our military personnel," said Tim Fuller, fire captain for the Fresno Fire Department.

On Thursday, a neighbor from a nearby business donated a flag to the fire station.
