Parlier Shooting Victim ID'd

PARLIER, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office has identified the man found shot to death in a Parlier field.

Francisco Esquivel-Lucio, 49, of Parlier, was shot and killed in the 6500 block of S. Smith Road early Wednesday afternoon.

Deputies discovered Esquivel-Lucio's body on a dirt road about 25 yards west of the Smith Road.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information on Esquivel-Lucio or any suspicious activity in the 6500 block of S. Smith Rd, between the hours of 11:00am-12:00pm, to call 600-8210, 600-8206 or the Sheriff's Office at 488-3111.
