A 25-year-old man was arrested at a Selma fast-food restaurant on Monday for suspicion of child pornography, the Fresno County Sheriff's Department said.

Authorities located registered sex offender Jeremy Hudler inside of a Selma-area McDonalds after discovering that he had moved out of his home in the 200 block of Azalea Street.

Hudler, authorities said, regularly visited the restaurant. And on Monday, he was found using his laptop near a child's play area.

Detectives say Hudler was attempting to erase items on his computer's hard drive. But a forensic scan of Hudler's computer hard drive revealed several items of child pornography, the Sheriff's Office said.

Hudler was identified during an investigation targeting suspects who use file-sharing programs to download and distribute child pornography.

Hudler was later booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of possessing child pornography.
