Caught In The Act: Two Fresno Men Nabbed In Attempted Robbery

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Two men were arrested Monday after deputies caught the pair burglarizing a Fig Garden home, the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said.

Steven Silva Corrales and Leo Moises Alejandrez, both 19,forced open the side entrance of a home in the 500 block of E Pontiac Way, deputies said.

When deputies arrived, they found Corrales attempting to pry open a rear door as Alejandrez was exiting one of the rear bedrooms.

Both men were booked into the Fresno County Jail on burglary charges.

Alejandrez, who is on felony probation for a prior burglary charge, was also charged with a probation violation.
