TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

Backup generators will power several Tulare County buildings that were impacted by power failure on Monday, county officials said.

County spokesman Jed Chernabaeff said crews will be working on fixing the infrastructure that provides power to four county buildings, including the County Supervisors' office and the Tulare County Office of Education.

The power failure will be completely fixed prior to next business week, Chernabaeff said.

More than 100 county employees and 200 Tulare County Office of Education employees were sent home before noon on Monday after the power disruption was determined to last longer than a day.

All departments will be fully operational for business Wednesday morning, Chernabaeff said.
