TJ Is Bulldogs' MVP


Tyler Johnson has been named the Most Valuable Player for the Fresno State men's basketball team.

The honor was announced at the team's annual awards banquet.

Johnson, a junior guard out of Mountain View, was the Bulldogs top scorer, averaging 12 points per game. He also led the team in shooting, hitting 46 percent from the field.

Tanner Giddings was named Most Improved, Marvelle Harris got the Playmaker Award, Allen Huddleston earned the Outstanding Service Award, Braeden Anderson was voted the Outstanding Student Athlete, Kevin Olekaibe won Top Free Throw Shooter, Brad Ely took the Bulldog Award, the four year Achievement and Commitment Award went to Garrett Johnson, Kevin Foster was named Outstanding Rebounder, and the Outstanding Defender award goes to Jerry Brown III.
