Stolen Goods: Bad Guys Ram Stolen Truck Into Business, Make Off With Safe

Posted:
VISALIA, Calif. (KMPH) -

A pair of crooks driving a stolen truck on Thursday morning made off with a safe from a Visalia business, the Visalia Police Department said.

Police say a two men inside of a 1989 Chevy 3500 gold-colored utility truck reported stolen out of Ivanhoe drove up to Premier Auto Sales around 5:20 a.m. and used their truck to push through several cars on the lot.

The two men then plowed the truck through a wall of the auto sales office to gain entrance, police said.

The two men then took a safe and drove off in the truck.

Police found the truck abandoned in Visalia shortly after the burglary, but the two men are still on the loose.

The two may be driving either a white, 4-door car or an older primer-gray car with large chrome wheels, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Visalia Police Department at 713-4656 or to leave an anonymous tip at 713-4738.
