Madera Deputies Suspect Credit Card Fraud For Minivan Found Full Of Stolen Goods

Posted:

Four people were arrested Friday night after deputies found a stash of suspicious items and evidence of credit card fraud, the Madera County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies say Kevan Ryan Young, 21, of Banning,Calif., Matthew Wayne Wilkins, 43, of Fresno, were inside of a U-Haul minivan with an Arkansas license plate parked near Road 600 and Little Rock Road in Ahwahnee at around 8:30 p.m.

A Nissan with Cutter James Randrup, 25, of Coarsegold, and Kara Nicole Raynor, 27, of Ahwahnee, was parked next to the U-Haul minivan, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies searched both vehicles and found extensive paperwork containing names of credit card holders, account information, a number of blank credit and debit cards, a laptop and a credit-debit card reader, the sheriff's office said.

Deputies also found an eight to 10-inch wooden duck, a large blue telescope, a black metal mariner's lamp, a wooden radio and a 60 inch flat-screen television that they say may have been acquired through "fraudulent means."

Deputies say there is no way to know where the property was acquired.

remains jailed without bail on a warrant issued out of Kings County for narcotics without bail.

Wilkins, who was wanted on several felony bench warrants out of Fresno, remains jailed without bail.

Randrup and Raynor posted bail, the sheriff's office said.

Anyone who may have information about these four suspects and the property found inside the U-Haul Truck is asked to call the Madera County Sheriff's Office -- and reference case no.13-1395 -- or call CRIME STOPPERS at 498-STOP.
