Tulare County Man Sentenced To 45 Years To Life For Shooting At Cop

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

A Tulare County man on Friday was sentenced to 45 years to life for shooting at a Lindsay police officer in 2011.

Mouseng See, 20, of Lindsay, was found guilty of attempted willful, deliberate and premeditated murder on a police officer with the benefit of a criminal street gang, the Tulare County District Attorney's Office said.  

According to reports filed with the DA's office reports, a police officer managed to pull See over in his car after a small pursuit. When the pursuit ended, See got out of his car, holding a gun and then ran. The police officer got out of is patrol car and ordered See to stop running. See then shot at the officer two times and continued running, according to the DA's office.

Backup officers arrived and quickly found See and the gun, the DA's office said.
