Visalia Felon Arrested For Weapons, Drugs

VISALIA, Calif. (KMPH) -

A 25-year-old gang member was arrested Thursday after a gang suppression unit found drugs and weapons in his home, authorities said.

Tulare County Agencies Regional Gang Enforcement Team and the Visalia Police Department Gang Suppression Unit served a search warrant for Ricardo Reyes around 5 a.m. at his home in the 1500 block of West Sady Avenue.

The search warrant stemmed from a two month investigation, the Visalia Police Department said.

Reyes, a convicted felon and known gang member, was found with nearly 40 grams of cocaine, more than seven grams of methamphetamine, a loaded handgun, scales and ammunition of various calibers.

He was booked into the Tulare County Jail Facility for various weapons and drug-related charges.
