Peak Broadcasting Places KMJ Talk Show Host On Leave

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

Peak Broadcasting on Wednesday announced that it has placed long-time talk show host Inga Barks on paid leave. 

In an issued statement, KMJ AM 580 Senior Vice President and General Manager Patty Hixson said: "We have been made aware of an incident involving talk show host, Inga Barks, who was arrested last week by the Bakersfield Police Department on misdemeanor charges. As a result, Inga has been placed on paid leave pending the outcome of a BPD criminal investigation and our own internal inquiry as to the facts in this case. Since this is a personnel matter, there will be no further statements until both are completed."
