The Fresno City College baseball team got back on the winning track Thursday with a 3-1 victory over Taft at Euless Park.
The Rams, a preseason contender for the State Championship because of their strong staff of starting pitchers, got a career game from Dominic Topoozian.
The freshman righthander, who was a member of Buchanan High School's National Championship team two seasons ago, struck out 14 in a complete game.
Topoozian now has 25 strikeouts in his last two starts.
Fresno City College improves to 8-6 overall and 3-2 in Central Valley Conference play.
