Deputies Searching For Inmate Accidentally Freed From Fresno Jail

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KMPH) -

The Fresno County Jail on Saturday mistakenly released an inmate who had been arrested on seven felony charges.

Fresno County sheriff's deputies are looking for 23-year-old Freddy Santillanes had been in jail for seven felony counts involving guns.

Deputies are now trying to track down him down and re-arrest him.

An internal investigation has been launched to figure out what went wrong.
