Crook Scrams After Homeowner Slams Man Coming Out Of His House

HANFORD, Calif. (KMPH) -

One down one to go, police say, after a homeowner catches one of two men he says he found crawling into the window of his home.

The homeowner says he to his home in Hanford around 10:30 a.m. to find two men climbing into the window of his house.

There was a child inside. So, the homeowner said he yelled at the two men to get out.

When the two ran out the front door, the homeowner says he chased them, caught and wrestled one of the men to the ground and held him for police.

The other man took off.

Police arrested David Vazquez and booked him into the Kings County Jail for burglary and attempted burglary.

Investigators are still searching for the second man.

They say, they believe the two are responsible for additional area burglaries.
