Ricky Manning, Jr. is no longer the head football coach at Fresno's Edison High School.

A statement released by the Fresno Unified School District Tuesday announced the varsity head coaching position will be listed as a vacancy.

But a school district spokesman would not say if Manning had resigned or was fired.

This was Manning's first year as head coach at his alma mater.
