Officers Investigating Fresno's Latest Murder

FRESNO, Calif. (KMPH) -

Deputies are looking into the death of a man found in northwest Fresno on Sunday night.

California Highway Patrol officers found 19-year-old Humberto Nunez in the are nunez in the area of Polk and Whitesbridge avenues shortly before 11 p.m.

A truck driver said he ran him over, but investigators later learned Nunez had been killed before he was hit by the truck.

Nunez, deputies said, was last seen on F Street between 15th and 16th in Reedley about an hour before he was found dead.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Fresno County Sheriff's Office at 488-3111 or crime stoppers at 498-stop
