ORANGE COVE, Calif. (KMPH) -
Two employees at a convenience store in Orange Cove on Friday night were assaulted by a group of armed robbers, police say.
Police responded to a call Friday shortly before 9:30 p.m. at the 1200 block of Park Blvd for a robbery.
The three armed men, all wearing hooded sweatshirts, gloves and bandannas over their faces, barged into the market and demanded money from the employees.
The men fled from the scene after taking an undisclosed amount of money, jewelry and a mobile phone.
They were last seen running west on Park Blvd, passing the nearby T&J Market, according to reports.
