Vice president Joe Biden says as early as Tuesday he will deliver
recommendations to president Obama on ways to curb gun violence.
Biden is sitting down with representatives from the National Rifle Association
and other guns rights groups today. It's his second day of meetings to get
input on ways to help stop gun violence.
The NRA has made its position clear: no new gun laws. It wants the
government to enforce laws already on the books.
Biden says a consensus is emerging over proposals such as tightening
background checks and banning high-capacity ammunition magazines.
This task force was formed as a result of the Newtown Connecticut
massacre.
