HANFORD, Calif. (KMPH) -

Police say an armed and dangerous gunman is on the loose after shooting three people. They are asking the public's help in finding him.

Investigators say James King opened fire on three people Saturday morning. It happened in a market parking lot in the city of Armona, near Hanford.

Officials also say they have surveillance photos showing King standing in line with another man who may also be involved, and a woman shortly before the shooting.

If you think you might know where King or the other man is, you're asked to please call the Kings County Sheriff's Office at 559-852-2329.

By no means should King be approached, police say. He is considered armed and dangerous.
