Bulldogs Open With Mountain West's Best

The Fresno State men's basketball team plays the first Mountain West game in program history Wednesday, and it is a tall order.

The Bulldogs will draw San Diego State, the preseason conference favorite, at the Save Mart Center.

The Aztecs are currently ranked 15th in the nation.

Fresno State head coach Rodney Terry sees the Mountain West opener as a measuring stick for his team.

He says the Aztecs have the kind of program he would like to build at Fresno State.

The Bulldogs enter the conference opening game with a record of 6-7.  San Diego State is 12-2.
