Crews Battle Garage Fire In Clovis

CLOVIS, Calif. (KMPH) -

One person was recovering from a burn after a fire in Clovis Friday afternoon.

The fire started around 3 p.m. at a home on Alluvial Avenue near Locan Avenue.

Firefighters say there was ammunition in the garage which was going off. That prevented them from going in close to fight those flames.

Firefighters say one person was burned during the fire and taken to the hospital.

Crews say the garage that burned -- which had at least two cars inside -- was a total loss.

The fire also tore into a small section of the house.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
